Delivery guide

Where Local Community Life Magazine is delivered.

A free community magazine hand-delivered to 6,000 homes and businesses across 12 communities around Brighouse.

Published 21 July 2026 · Local Community Life Magazine

Local Community Life is designed around a concentrated group of neighbouring West Yorkshire communities. Each issue is delivered by hand, helping residents receive the magazine free of charge and giving independent businesses a practical way to appear in front of nearby households.

6,000 copies in every seasonal issue

The magazine prints and distributes 6,000 copies per issue. Four seasonal editions are published each year, creating an annual distribution of 24,000 copies. Those figures describe copies distributed and household-level opportunities for an item to be noticed; they are not a claim that every copy produces a guaranteed reader or advertising impression.

The 12 communities currently covered

The hand-delivery area includes Bailiff Bridge, Lightcliffe, Clifton, Hipperholme, Norwood Green, Northowram, Hove Edge, Shibden, Brighouse, Wyke, Rastrick and Scholes.

Why the delivery area is deliberately local

Keeping the coverage connected makes the magazine useful to people who live, work and spend money in the same group of places. Community notices remain relevant, featured businesses are close enough to contact, and events are more likely to be within a practical travelling distance.

The routes can develop as the magazine grows, so businesses planning a campaign should request the current media pack rather than relying on an older edition. Residents can also use the submission page to identify the community connected with a story or event.

Advertising across the delivery area

Advertisers appear in the same edition distributed across the full local route. The advertising page explains the current starting price, available evidence and the difference between distribution and guaranteed readership. A separate page is not needed for every town because the magazine, distribution and enquiry process are shared across the communities.
